Sponsors

One of the greatest challenges of being a professional marathon swimmer is that the cost of airfare, accomodations, race fees, equipment, and the opportunity cost of spending so many hours training is too high to realistically be offset by prize money earned while racing. Many races offer no prize money at all, although they offer an invaluable opportunity to sharpen racing skills and gain experience. Therefore Mallory relies on sponsors to help her cover these costs and insure that she gets to race as often as possible.

There are many options for becoming a sponsor.  As an individual or company you can sponsor the total or partial amount of race fees for a specific race (local races range from $30-$150+, national and international races can be much more!) or donate airline miles/hotel rewards. These donations and sponsorships are processed through The Endurance Trust, a 501(c)(3) organization, making these donations tax deductable. Mallory also works with companies and organizations on agreements in which product or a race entry is given in exchange for promotional services and exposure to Mallory’s supporters.

If you are interested in becoming a sponsor,  you can contact Mallory here for more information.
